Terms of Service

These terms apply to all commission work. By sending payment, you agree to all of the following.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

✧ NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement)

  • All commissions are assumed to be under NDA:

    1. I will not publicly share or display any part of the project unless (a) the client has already made it public, or (b) I receive explicit written permission.

    2. If you require me to sign your own NDA, I am willing to do so and will comply with its terms.

    3. If you wish your project to be showcased, I may, with your consent, display parts of the process or the finished work in my portfolio.

  • This clause exists to protect the client’s privacy and confidentiality while also ensuring that I can legally and safely build my portfolio.

  • I only communicate through these official accounts. Any other accounts may be fraudulent.

  • Communication is accepted in English or Chinese only.

  • For companies or teams, please use official accounts/emails or provide proof of affiliation.

  • Availability depends on my current workload and the complexity of the project.

  • Rush orders may be accepted for an additional fee, negotiated case by case.

✧ General Notes

  • Sending a commission request does not guarantee acceptance. I reserve the right to decline.

  • Commission details may only be changed before production begins. Major alterations after work has started may incur additional charges.

  • For non-Skeb style commissions, I typically provide drafts and progress updates for approval.

  • All clients are treated equally; there is no “returning client priority.”

  • I only store files for a limited time. Files may be removed during cleanup or by accident, so I strongly recommend backing up your completed works.

✧ What I Will & Will Not Draw

✅ I Will Draw

  • Original characters (OC)

  • Selective fanart

  • Some male characters

  • Suggestive/sexy themes (poses, outfits, atmosphere; no explicit nudity)

  • Mild gore (minor blood effects, battle wounds; nothing overly violent or graphic)

❌ I Will Not Draw

  • Real people

  • Complex mecha (e.g., giant robots)

  • Overly muscular or elderly characters

  • Furry

  • Explicit NSFW / pornographic material

  • BL (Boys’ Love)

  • Hateful imagery

  • Stolen or AI-generated designs (I only create in my own style)

⚠️ Special Note
No works may be used for NFTs, AI training, or AI generation.

✧ Pricing

3D Models

  • Simple objects: $25–200 (e.g., curtain, mask; depends on detail)

  • Moderate scenes: $50–1000

  • Complex models (e.g., VTuber models): $400–2000+ (depending on hair, expressions, rigging, textures, etc.)

Illustrations

  • $30–400 (depending on difficulty and required time)

✧ Payments

  • PayPal only.

  • Full payment is usually required before work begins; exceptions may be discussed.

  • Installment plans are available for orders over $500 USD (partial payments are non-refundable).

  • Quotes are valid for 6 months from the date issued. Prices may adjust as my skills develop.

  • Do not send payments without prior discussion; unsolicited payments will be treated as donations.

✧ Revisions

  • Revisions during the sketch/draft phase are free within reason.

  • Major revisions in the final stage may require additional fees.

  • I do not revise works older than 6 months.

✧ Refunds

  • You may cancel at any time before work begins for a full refund.

  • If work has begun, only a partial refund will be issued, based on progress.

  • For partial refunds, I may or may not deliver unfinished work.

  • Completed works are non-refundable.

✧ Resale

  • VTuber models or custom designs: Resale requires my explicit consent beforehand.

  • Illustrations or other works: When transferring a character to a new owner, attribution is recommended but my permission is not required.

  • All resale cases:

    • Resale price must not exceed the original price.

    • New owners must provide proper credit and agree to this TOS.

✧ Deadlines & Delivery

  • Strict deadlines must be discussed and agreed upon before payment.

  • Rush orders may be accepted with an additional fee, to be negotiated.

  • Deliverables:

    • Illustrations: PNG / CLIP / PSD

    • 3D Models: FBX / VRM / MMD

    • Animation/Video: MOV / Render Sequence (JPG/PNG) / MP4

  • Most works are delivered within 1 day to 4 months, depending on project size and workload. If an extension is needed, I will notify you in advance.

  • I only store files for a limited time; please make sure to back them up.

✧ Use & Credit

  • Works are for personal use only. Commercial use must be declared in advance.

  • Copyright remains with ArKus; clients purchase the right to use, not ownership.

  • Credit must always be given as: ArKus / arukasu2711.

  • Acceptable credit links include:​​

  • Credits should be included in captions, descriptions, or directly on the work, as long as they are legible.

  • Works may not be used for NFTs, AI training, or hateful content.

✧ Suggested Project Info to Provide

When contacting me, please provide (as applicable):

  1. Type of work (Illustration / 3D Model / MV / Animation clip)

  2. Project theme or atmosphere (e.g., futuristic, dreamy, warm & healing)

  3. Reference materials: character design / references / concept / sketches

  4. Deadlines or schedule (especially strict ones)

  5. Technical requirements (e.g., low-poly models for game use, rigging type, animation length)

  6. Special notes (e.g., required colors, must-include scene elements)
